Modern Alternative Health Launches Today!

Today is the beginning of an exciting new adventure for me and The Woodwife's Journal!
If you follow Modern Alternative Mama, you know there's a wealth of information there on applying natural/alternative methods and materials to many of our daily tasks from health, food, and family to overall life...so much so that it became an overwhelming job to cover all the health related topics that deserve attention. Thus the birth of Modern Alternative Health, the newest blog in the Modern Alternative series.

A few months ago, I received a surprising email inviting me to become a contributing writer for Modern Alternative Health! Me! What an exciting and challenging opportunity! Many thanks to MAH editor, Beth Grice for finding me and asking me to be a part of this amazing team!
You may have already read about me and what's happening here at The Woodwife's journal and my interest in natural and herbal alternatives, but if not, read this to get started.

*As a side note: sometimes water and/or soap applied to an area of irritation can increase discomfort. Often, a carrier oil or milk will ease the problem.
